Hackman Owusu-Agyemang: NPP Leadership Must "Shut Up"...We Can't Solve Our Problems On Radio

A leading member of the opposition New Patriotic Party [NPP], Hackman Owusu-Agyemang has advised his party adherents and leadership to be self-controlled if their aim is to win election 2016.

According to him, it will be appropriate for party leadership and individuals solving the party’s internal glitches on radio – “to shut up. That is not the right thing to do”.

“It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt,” he said on NEAT FM’s morning show "Ghana Mo Ntie".

The former NPP Member of Parliament for New Juabeng North constituency also opined that – “Once you have commitment, you need the discipline and hard work to get you there”.

“If we [NPP] become disciplined, we will win election 2016. Our members must be disciplined and keep their mouth shut. We can’t solve our problems on radio”, he added.

To him the division and internal wrangling will rather keep the NPP in opposition if that is not solved - “If we unite, then we can win the 2016 election”.
