National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) John Boadu has called on the rank and file of his party to rally support behind the flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.

Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi, John Boadu appealed to the party leadership and members to stop undermining Nana Addo.

He noted on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" the party has elected a Presidential candidate in the person of Nana Addo and nothing can be done to reverse that decision.

Therefore, to him, it is unnecessary for any executive or member to have any ulterior motives against the party's flagbearer.

“We can’t do more than we’ve done to ourselves...It doesn’t matter whether you like him or not," he pointed out.

He further said the internal strife within the NPP makes it difficult for the executives to function effectively, thus "sometimes, you ask yourself is it worth continuing the line we’re going for this party for all these years?”

He however stated that the party members are still poised for "victory and they're ready to work" and further advised them to be patient.
