Lawyers of Kwabena Amaning, otherwise known as Tagor, have raised concern about what they say is government�s attempt to undermine the integrity of the Judiciary following comments on the acquittal and discharge of their client.
The lawyers say a press statement issued by the Attorney General on the 30th of July 2009 raises a number of disturbing issues regarding the release of their client from prison.
In a reaction to the Attorney General�s statement the lawyers say government�s desire to fight the drug menace must be in line with sound legal principles as defined by the Constitution.
