This is the moment a BBC presenter was caught live on air as she brushed her hair and left her handbag on the desk during a bulletin. Carole Walker managed to keep her head as the cameras flicked to her four minutes early on BBC News 24 yesterday morning. She looked startled as the show's music kicked in and realised she was in fact in the middle of preening herself when she went live on air.
