Yes! – The ruling National Democratic Congress [NDC] government secured the €74.88million to finance the under- construction circle flyover with support from the Brazilian government.

But is it necessary for the NDC to hoist their party’s flag there or they should have opted for a joint Ghana-Brazil national flag?

Well, the two flyovers at the newly built Nkrumah Circle, which are due for official opening today have been decorated with NDC flags.

The ‘umbrella’ party flag was ornamented by an unidentified lady - even though government officials at the ceremony did not question her act.

Some motorists are unhappy but others were proud of the Mahama-led administration developmental projects nationwide, especially that of Circle which will ease traffic.

The flyovers link the central business district of Accra and vice-versa to the Kwame Nkrumah Circle, a key intersection in the major road network in the national capital.
