The MP for Kwanta South, Hon. Gershon Gbediameh has appealed to NADMO for assistance for about 400 people in Nkwanta who have been rendered homeless as a result of a heavy rainfall that hit the area last week.
In an interview with Peace FM the MP said some bridges in Nkwanta were also washed away by the storm hence some communities have been cut off from each other.
Hon. Gershon Gbediameh said farmers in the affected parts of the constituency cannot cart their produce to the market due to the collapse of the bridges.
