Suarez, Iniesta & Cavani Lose 300 Cows After Floods In Uruguay

At least 300 cows belonging to Luis Suarez. Andres Iniesta and Edinson Cavani have died after heavy rains and floods in Uruguay.

The cattle, which lived on a rural property shared by the Barcelona and PSG stars, was swept away after the Cebollati River overflowed due to heavy rainfall that has flooded parts of the country in recent weeks.

According to El Pais, the agricultural property is located east of the South American country and was only recently acquired by the footballing trio. "The growing cattle of these players was unfortunately affected," said the foreman of the estate, Alejandro Saravia. Uruguay has been severely hit by two weeks of heavy rains causing floods that have forced more than 5,000 people to evacuate their homes.
