The former Member of Parliament (MP) for Akwatia, Hon. Christian Kusi has alleged that the Eastern Regional Police Command in collaboration with the NDC leaders in Akwatia want to treat him like they did to Alhaji Mobilla. He declared, �the way they accused Alhaji Mobilla and killed him in police cells is the same way they want to do with me.
The former MP was speaking on Peace FMs Morning Show, �kokrokoo� in reaction to an accusation levelled against him on Peace FM by the Eastern regional minister, Hon. Ofosu Amponsah and his deputy, Hon. Baba Jamal that he had fired a gun in the Akwatia township.
Dismissing the allegations, the former MP disclosed that the NDC youth had placed a barrier across the main entrance into the Akwatia township like policemen checking and harassing people so there is no way he could have entered the area with a gun since he does not live there anymore. He further added that, apart from accusing him on radio, his opponents are looking for him to arrest him. He declared, so �I�m in my house, they can come and arrest me; I know they want to kill me like they did to Alhaji Mobilla.�
