A 19-YEAR-OLD boy, Eric Kwesi Ansah, has been jailed eight months by the Prestea Circuit Court for stubbing his lover, Esther Yeboah.

An eyewitness, Kobina Sika, from Himan-Prestea, who testified in court, told reporters in an interview that the two young lovers came to him in search of a job.

He said although he did not have a job for them, he accepted to house them because the lady was from his hometown in the Eastern Region.
"That was how come Esther took my wife’s phone to call her mother to inform her of her whereabouts," he said.

He explained that the next day when he left home for work, Kwesi Ansah asked the lady to eave with him to another place, which the lady refused.

Being suspicious of the conduct of the gentleman, he asked him to leave his house.

“Later in the same week, we were in the house when I heard this loud noise from Esther’s room. I went there to see Kwesi Ansah (the suspect) stabbing Esther.

“Upon seeing me at the scene, he was shocked and quickly took to his heels, but following an alarm I raised, he was arrested and later put before court."
