Mahama Joins Hundreds To Bid Farewell To Late Mother Of Antartic
President John Dramani Mahama last Saturday joined hundreds of mourners in Koforidua, the Eastern regional capital for the burial and funeral rite of the late mother of the Chief Executive Officer of Antartic Construction Company, Joseph Okyere, popularly known as Antartic.
The late Madam Mary Ofosua Osei, 91, left behind a son. The President was accompanied by some ministers of state.
Other dignitaries from across the two main political parties and business tycoons across the world attended the funeral.
Also in attendance were some prominent chiefs in the region. Some musicians and celebrities were present to thrill mourners after the burial.
