Mills, Mahama Destroyed The Good Legacies of Rawlings, Kufour

“I don’t want to talk about President Mills because he is dead but for Mahama, he has succeeded in destroying the good things President Rawlings and former President Kufour built…,” claims George Boateng who is seeking to contest President Mahama in the upcoming primaries of the NDC.

The good legacies of the two former Presidents, George Boateng said include social intervention programmes like the NHIS, School Feeding, Capitation Grant among others.

To this end, George Boateng is calling on supporters of the NDC to elect him to replace the NDC in the primaries and help restore the lost image of the party which was founded to cushion the poor.

“NDC is a social democratic party and we founded the party to help the poor but today we can’t boast of helping the poor…,” he said on Adom News.

George Boateng is of the view that the NDC has lost grounds at the grass root level and that is what he is in the race to restore. “Go out today and interview people, even those who voted for President Mahama would say they never voted for the NDC all because of the bad leadership we are suffering today under this administration…,” he said. The poor performance of the President, he said, would lead him to give him a zero percent mark in terms of output.
