Former NPP National Chairman: �I Am Very Sad� For My Party

Peter Mac Manu, a distinguish former National Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party [NPP] says he always feels miserable when the party he ones led is exposed to bad publication in the media.

Mac Manu who has been tipped to lead Nana Addo’s 2016 campaign is perturbed as to why the ‘Elephant’ fraternity is still not “united” – despite being known as the Danquah-Busia-Dombo Tradition party.

“I am very sad for the NPP,” – he told Kasapa FM.

The NPP is yet to resolve some internal wrangling within the party – some key members of the party seems to have issues with others, a situation that has led to the party’s national chairman and its general secretary’s office in troubles over the past few months.

The former chairman is however calling for a “United” NPP to face the ruling NDC in the coming election – all issues within the party according to him must be solved amicably.
