Be Cautious On How To Report Alleged Judicial Bribery Scandal � Lawyer T.K

Lawyer Tweneboah Koduah, host of UTV’s morning show, 'Adekye Nsroma' has cautioned journalists on their reportage on an alleged bribery scandal exposing High Court Judges.

The exposé which is yet to be released by world-renowed investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, has been described by Lawyer Tweneboah Koduah as a “mere allegation” until concrete evidence is given beyond reasonable doubt.

“Journalists must be cautious on how they report Anas case. It is a serious matter,” he said. 

“It is just an allegation…Anas must prove his claims, until that, this is just a mere allegation. All Judges cited in the bribery scandal are innocent until proven otherwise,” he added in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie'.

The Ghana Judiciary is under pressure as thirty-four judges are to be sacked following an exposé that established their complicity in a massive corruption scandal.

The senior judges have been captured on tape in discussion with suspects or assigns of suspects on how to compromises the cases before the Judges respective courts.

The investigative piece is said to be the “biggest scandal ever to hit Ghana’s judicial service.” – The multiple award winning journalist, Anas has served notice the video and other hardcore evidence will shake the “democratic foundation of Ghana.”
