A leading member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Arthur Kennedy says the party's Flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo’s chances of winning power in 2016 elections though bright might not become a reality if he (Presidential candidate) does not implement what he considers to be some essential resolutions.

According to him, Nana Akufo Addo must embark on four (4) assignments in the party if he is determined to win power to become the next President.

Speaking on Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, Dr. Arthur Kennedy enumerated that the first assignment of Nana Akufo-Addo must be to come out publicly to speak against the impeachment plan which some executives planned against Kwabena Agyepong and Paul Afoko.

He also wants Nana Akufo-Addo to publicly apologize and condemn the verbal attacks on former President Kufuor and the former Chief of Staff, Kwadwo Mpiani, whom many have described as “murderers” and “criminals”.

To him, the NPP can be considered serious contenders for political power when the Presidential candidate and his team cease sidelining others from the party activities.

Touching on his final assignment for NPP’s flagbearer, Dr. Arthur Kennedy said NPP needs serious prayers and fasting because a careful look at some of the things which are happening in the party are due to some sort of spiritual attacks.

“If Nana Addo is determined to win power to become the next president, then he must speak publicly to condemn the impeachment plan against Kwabena Agyepong and Paul Afoko;...it was a wrong move in the first place”.

“Again, the attacks on President Kufuor and Kwadwo Mpiani by some close allies of Nana Akufo Addo that they are murderers and criminals must be condemned; he must apologize to them publicly…we do these things, God will help us to win the 2016 elections”, he stated.
