Accordingly, the company stressed that it did not have any hand in the alleged demolition exercise that occurred on Thursday, September 3, 2015 because they did not have any legal backing to embark on such an exercise, calling on the general public to treat the allegation with the contempt it deserves.

“We have confidence in the state security agencies and are prepared to assist them in any investigation of the alleged happenings when the need arises,” it said.

According to the statement, it is also on record that persons purporting to be land guards were selling portions of the land belonging to personnel of GAF to unsuspecting and innocent third parties due to the delay in the development of the land.
