GOIL, the nation�s indigenous Oil Marketing Company has held a 2-day training program for over 100 station supervisors and national service personnel at the Ghana National Fire Academy & Training School at Korle Gonno in Accra on Wednesday and Thursday 9th & 10th September, 2015. Opening the training program, the Managing Director of GOIL, Mr. Patrick Akorli said, �We, at GOIL, will continue to implement, maintain and improve companywide Quality management system based on ISO 9001 requirement. Our quality policy statement shall be achieved by active involvement of our professionally qualified, highly-skilled, well trained and motivated staff. It is against this backdrop that this training program is being held to enable our staff to deliver their duties safely�. The Director of Operations of Ghana National Fire Service W.J. Mensah expressed delight that GOIL has taken this important step to provide fire training for its workers and urged other Oil Marketing Companies to emulate the shining example.
