T. B. Joshua Told Indicted Judge To Quit For Scandal Looms

Justice John Ajet-Nasam, who was indicted in the Anas Video scandal after he was allegedly caught on tape taking bribe to reduce the sentence of an accused person before him must be cursing himself for not taking the advice of his pastor and mentor, T.B. Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).

Very credible sources have told this paper that two years ago, T.B. Joshua told Justice Ajet-Nasam to resign immediately after he delivers judgment in the Woyome case, whether he finds the accused person guilty or not guilty.

According to the sources, T.B. Joshua told the High Court Judge that his advice to him is based on the premonition he has that he will be involved in a scandal after the ruling because of big toes he has stepped on.

Justice Ajet-Nasam, however, did not pay heed to the advice his pastor gave him. He gave his judgment on the Woyome case in April this year, acquitting and discharging the accused, Alfred Woyome after finding him not guilty of the fraud and causing financial loss charges brought against him in respect of the GH51 million judgment debts paid to him. A few days after that, he was filmed by Anas Aremeyaw Anas allegedly accepting GH635, 000 from the accounts of the Tema Oil Refinery.

Ajet-Nasam allegedly collected GH16, 000 from accused persons. He later sentenced them to a fine of GH50, 000 each in his ruling on May 16, 2015. Now, with the scandal breaking and he allegedly caught in the act, he will be cursing himself for not just paying heed to his pastor’s advice and quitting after the Woyome case.
