2015 District Level Elections Turnout Is 39.6%

As at last Saturday, September 12, the projected voter turnout for the just-ended District Level Elections (DLE) was about 39.6%. This turnout is tentative because there are some outstanding elections to be held.

Some of the outstanding elections were held in the Greater Accra Region last Sunday (September 13). A few more are still outstanding due to Court injunctions.

On this page is a chart, comparing over all national and regional turnouts of the DLE in 2010 and 2015. Whilst the national average in 2010 was 35%, that for this year will be a minimum of 39%.

Between 2010 and 2015, there were marginal increase in turnouts in Brong Ahafo; Western; Ashanti and Eastern regions.
