The committee investigating allegations of corruption against 22 judges will sit today to continue its work.
Their maiden meeting last Tuesday was called off due to the absence of a member of the committee.
Lawyers for some of the magistrates are however pushing for an indefinite suspension of their meetings until a suit pending in court is determined.
Some of the magistrates have filed a writ at the High Court questioning the legality of the process.
The Chief Justice set up the committee to investigate allegations of corruption against the magistrates following the expos� by investigative journalist Anas Aremyaw Anas.
