Flagstaff House Deny Reports Of First Family Accident
The Office of the President has denied a news report claiming that a convoy carrying the family of President John Mahama to Ekumfi Otuam was involved in an accident Thursday afternoon.
The Presidents family was neither in the convoy to Otuam nor in any other convoy, a statement from the Flagstaff stated.
The statement further described the reports being circulated by an online portal owned by Starr FM as irresponsible.
According to the Flagstaff House, President Mahama inaugurated the first Community Day SHS at Otuam and also launched the Progressively free SHS programme on Thursday and returned safely to Accra.
No member of the Presidents family was part of the delegation to the programme, the statement said adding that the only convoy that moved to Otuam from the Flagstaff House was the Presidents convoy.
