CIMG Awards: List Of Winners

Managing Director of Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited, Alhassan Andani has been crowned the Marketing Man of the year 2014 at this years Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) Awards.

The Managing Director of telecom operator, Airtel Ghana Limited, Mrs. Lucy Quist, also emerged the CIMG Marketing Woman of the year 2014, while Region Marketing Manager for Coca Cola Equatorial Ghana, Mrs. Linda Larbie, was adjudged Marketing Practitioner for the year.

In his acceptance speech on behalf of all the winners for the 2014 CIMG Performance Awards held at the Banquet Hall in Accra, Mr. Andani described the awards as long in coming, saying, “for every award winner, it’s been a lot of hard work".

He expressed gratitude to the organisers for the honour done them.

Commenting on the theme for the awards: “The Future of Marketing- Evolve or Die,” Mr. Andani said the digital age confers on marketing practitioners and indeed all firms, a very tough challenge to deliver products and services away from the traditional ways.

He urged all to lead the marketing fraternity in Ghana and across the globe on how they can re-look at the art of marketing. “We will take up the challenge,” he assured.

He said: “We should keep the marketing flag flying, because that is the only way as a country and as companies, we will survive”

“We will lead a very adaptable marketing campaign and lead the charge for innovation to ensure that we can position our companies and country to great prosperity” he added.
