Aspiring MP For Bolgatanga Pledges Change

A 45-year old chartered accountant with the World Bank who filed his nomination to contest the NDC primary in the Bolgatanga Central Constituency, has pledged to work to change the fortunes of the area when voted as Member of Parliament (MP). Mr Isaac Adongo who is based in Accra with oversight responsibilities of the Volta and Central Regions, noted that Bolgatanga Central had not seen any development for a long time, and assured the people in the area to vote for him, to enable him use his rich experience to bring the needed development to the area. Mr Adongo gave the assurance when he addressed a gathering at the NDC party office in Bolgatanga. He pledged his commitment to the party, and said he would work for its progress. The aspirant is contesting the incumbent MP, MrAkulbire Opam Brown, with two others, namely, Mr George Gamson, of the Internal Revenue Authority, and Mr Ibrahim Anabila. He appealed to sympathizers of the party to vote massively for him, Mr Adongo commended the President for the new projects in the region, which he said include schools, hospitals and the massive road development linking the rural areas.
