Togbe Afede Must Dissolve Hearts Board

Accra Hearts is in tatters because the current board managing the club are not working, according to former board member, Aziz Haruna Futah.

The Phobians finished the 2014/2015 First Capital Plus Bank Premier League season in the top 4, but the ardent fan of the club says the ex-board members bailed the club when the team was struggling to find their feet to compete in the league in the presence of the current board which shows the board are not working and must be sacked.

“Accra Hearts of Oak is in tatters because the club lacks leadership. They say we have a board of management, but I bet to differ; we don’t have any management,” Aziz said in an interview.

“When Hearts of Oak were struggling to the extent that we occupied bottom three for the better part of the season, where were the board of management?” he quizzed.

“They were nowhere to be found except Frank Nelson… Alhaji Hearts, Harry Zakkour, T.T Brothers, Nii Ayi Bontey and the rest came to our rescue. It tells you that if we have a solid board working the problems of Hearts will be a thing of the past.

“That is why I am calling on the Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XI, to dissolve the present board because the way our club is being run and the direction it is heading, we don’t like it.

“He should sack the board and form a new board that will work and lead the club in the right direction either than that we don’t know what will happen in the 2015/2016 season.”
