NPP Will Fix Economy If Given The Nod - Dr Apraku

Dr Kofi Konadu Apraku, a leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), said the party had the capacity to fix the deteriorated economy if voted into power.

He said the NPP, under President John Agyekum Kufuor, took over governance from the National Democratic Congress in 2001 and was able to bring the nation to a middle-income status within eight years.

Dr Apraku made this known when he addressed regional, constituency and polling station executives of nine constituencies of the party at Agona Swedru in the Central Region.

He was in the entourage of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Flagbeaer of NPP, who was on a “rise and build” tour of the region.

Dr Apraku said the NPP had men with proven ability who would use their expertise and economic think tank to reverse the present situation of the economy.

He was full of hope that the enthusiasm and zeal exhibited by the supporters of the region was an indication that NPP would win massively in the 2016 elections.

He said however that recapturing power from the NDC in 2016 would not be an easy task and called for hard work and commitment to win the elections to liberate Ghanaians from their current suffering.

Dr Apraku appealed to the supporters to intensify their house to house campaign and that all leading members of NPP were determined to assist in all diverse ways to ensure total victory in 2016.
