Two brothers were crushed to death after a motorcycle on which they were traveling collided with a tipper truck.
The incident occurred on the Nkoranza-Sekyeredumase road in the Brong Ahafo region.
Nkoranza Police Commander, DSP Joseph Owusu confirmed the death of the two brothers, James Opoku, 26, and Peter Twumasi, 20, to the Adom News.
According to the Police Commander, the driver of the tipper with registration number, BA 2328-15 was heading to the Nkoranza New Town when the motorcycle with registration number M-15-AS 186 which was driving on an opposite lane run into it.
The two brothers, DSP Owusu said sustained various degrees of injuries after the accident and were rushed to the St. Theresa’s Hospital in Nkoranza where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
Their bodies have now been deposited at the morgue of the same hospital.
