District Chief Executive of Techiman North, Anthony Kwaku Manu is threatening to cause the arrest of anyone who spreads defamatory messages about him on social media.
Messages circulating on social media indicate Mr. Manu has been allegedly having sex with married women in classrooms.
One of the texts on social media reads:
‘Breaking News: Techiman North DCE Anthony Kwaku Manu has been caught having sex with somebody’s wife. It will be in Daily Guide Tomorrow’.
But the DCE has dismissed the text, saying it has been concocted by his detractors to disgrace and make him unpopular.
“There is no iota of truth in this issue and so I plead with the general public to shun those lies” he told Adom News.
The DCE says he has filed a complaint at the Akrofrom police station to stop anyone from peddling further rumors about him.
