Lets See Ourselves As NPP Soldiers On Rescue Mission For Ghana - Addai Nimo

A leading member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Francis Addai Nimo in highlighting the purpose of the ‘Rise and Build’ tour of his flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo has encouraged all party members to see themselves as soldiers on rescue mission.

In summing up the ‘Rise and Build’ tour in the Greater Accra Region on Sunday, October 11, 2015, the NPP MP for Asante-Mampong expressed satisfaction at the tour as they were able to embark on this fruitful journey in all the ten (10) regions without any accident.

Speaking on Okay Fm’s 'Ade Akye Abia' Morning Show, the NPP 2016 Presidential aspirant says he agrees with Nana Akufo-Addo’s position that there must be peace in NPP before they can rise and build Ghana.

He admitted to the existence of internal wrangling in NPP but urged all party members to focus on the 2016 elections by seeing themselves as NPP soldiers into rescue mission.

“We should see ourselves as NPP soldiers; we have Nana Akufo-Addo as NPP Commander in Chief and Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as his second in Command. They are leading the mission to rescue Ghanaians from the NDC government,” he stated.

He reminded that all the leaders of the 275 constituencies are battalions, with the Parliamentary aspirants leading at the constituency level to ‘fight’ for the party.

He again told the elephant fraternity that NPP is done with internal elections and so there is a need for discipline in the party; adding “accord respect to each other and that is what we can use to fight for victory in 2016 elections.”

He stressed that the 'Rise and Build' was done to sensitize and revive the NPP fraternity to prepare themselves for serious campaign in 2016 general elections.
