Prez Mahama Will Poll 55% Votes In W/R In 2016 Elections - Kofi Adams

National Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has emphatically stated that President Mahama is winning more votes in the Western Region due to well established developmental projects in the region.

He explained that taking into consideration the extent of infrastructural development in Western Region the indigenes have assured President John Dramani Mahama of 55 percent of votes while they give 50 percent of votes to the NDC Parliamentarians in the region.

Commenting on Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show about President Mahama tour in the Western Region, Kofi Adams hinted the NDC already has control of the region has out of the 26 constituencies, his party has 18 seats.

He stressed the NDC will maximize its seats in the region from 18 to 20 seats in the 2016 elections because the people have seen and appreciate the projects of the NDC government within the three years in office after the death of President Mills.

“Government has been very faithful with the people in Western Region and so if you go rounds, what they are saying is that they are giving President Mahama 55 percent of votes and with the Parliamentary seats, we will get 20 out of 26 seats; we already have 18 seats”, he asserted.

“When you take into consideration the infrastructural developments in the region and as we listened and have addressed their needs, they have decided to give 55 percent of votes in 2016 elections to President Mahama”, he stressed.

"Road constructions in the cocoa areas, Takoradi Port expansion, water and other developmental projects will give 55 percent votes to President Mahama and 50 percent votes to NDC Parliamentary aspirants", he added.
