Mahama Grading: Prof. Akosa Told To Go Mark The Scripts Of His Medical Students

A leading member of the United Cadres’ Front of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Felix Efanam Komla Nyaku, has called the bluff of the former director of the Ghana Health Service, Professor Agyeman Badu Akosa for rating president John Dramani Mahama 4 out of 10.

While calling the bluff of the former flagbearer of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), the NDC Cadre said, “If Prof. Akosa has any script to mark, he should go and mark the script of his medical students.”

The NDC Cadre made this known to the Daily Heritage in reaction to the paper’s Friday, October 9, 2015 edition under the caption, Mahama Scores 4/10…In Prof. Akosa’s Exams.

“We are not surprised he rated him that way. This is someone who was not been able to organize his CPP. How could such a person rate someone who has done great work so far? President Mahama as the leader of the NDC has done a great job. He (Prof. Akosa) has always been talking. If he has any markings to do, he should go and mark the scripts of his medical students,” the United Cadres Front chief stated.

He said the work president Mahama has done should be assessed from the beginning when he took over as president, especially, after surviving the challenges he was put through by the Supreme Court Election petition, saying, “if it will rain you will see it from the clouds,” to buttress his point.

While scoring the president seven out of 10, he said if anybody wants to mark the president, he should do so “based on where he came from.”

Prof. Akosa was on record to have stated on Kasapa FM on Thursday that the performance of the Mahama-led administration, was dissatisfactory.

He said the President as a leader has performed below average over the past three years, stating that, “if I am marking the President on a scale of zero to 10, I will give him 4.”

According to him, Ghanaians have the right to know whatever goes on in the country, indicating that, the President’s inability to communicate what is really affecting the growth of the country has contributed to his poor performance.

“There must be a sense of urgency and as a president he has not shown that urgency. He should come and be sincere by facing the people and tell them the problem,” he stated.
