Graduates Threaten Govt After Sleeping At Local Gov't Premises

Some graduates of the School of Hygiene (SOH) across the country on Monday slept at the premises of the local government ministry.

According to them if government refuses to give them their posting letters, they “will advise themselves.”

The students who are trained to enforce sanitation laws and educate people on measures to prevent sanitation and hygiene related diseases are bemoaning the delay in the posting of 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 graduates across the country.

Prince Dzramado spokesperson for the graduates told Kwami Sefa Kayi in an interview that they decided to “sleep at the premises amidst mosquito bites because we are tired of all the failed promises.”

“For the past four years nobody has been posted. Currently we have four badges that have not been posted. They keep giving us promises which are not fulfilled and if at the end of today nothing is done about our posting, we will advise ourselves…we will go to the various schools and help them to close down because what is the use of going to school and after graduating you join your parents in the house; doing nothing…” Prince added.
