NDC’s Kofi Adams has labeled NPP’s presidential hopeful, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as a “liar” – whose leadership as Ghana’s president will be disastrous.

To him, Nana Addo will be a reckless leader if the electorates ever vote him as president.

Kofi Adams was responding to Nana Addo’s recent allegation that government spent $10m on limited presidential diaries.

“Ghanaians cannot have a President who is always quick at putting out false information; such recklessness should be the least tolerated,” he said.

Nana Addo has been bombarded by some government appointees after he claimed that $10 was expended on printing Presidential diaries.

“Ghana has worked incredibly hard to preserve a democratic character. One administration shouldn’t be allowed to undermine it. The hope is that the global community takes notice and urges change before the elections rather than looking back at the 2016 elections; shaking their heads and asking how did this happen; we are telling you exactly how it’s going to happen,” Nana Addo said in Amsterdam during a conference with NPP members. 

But speaking on NEAT FM morning show 'Ghana Montie' Wednesday, the NDC’s Natonal Organizer condemned Nana Addo for putting out such statement – he maintained that the twice defeated NPP flagbearer's comments are highly shameful.

“How can Nana Addo be going round the world putting out such unfounded allegations, this shows how desperate he is for power. He has decided to do everything to win power irrespective of what the negative consequence his action can cause this country,” he told host Kwasi Aboagye.
