Aspirant Spells Out Priorities For Development

Alhaji Anaba Adam Moro, an aspiring National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Zebilla Constituency in the Bawku West district has commended the Member of Parliament for the area, Mr Cletus Avoka, for his good works, but appealed to him to step down and allow him to continue from where he stopped.

He said he had been a loyal and committed member of the NDC since its formation in 1992, and urged the people to give him the mandate to represent them in parliament come 2016.

The Aspirant called on party members to desist from politics of insult and focus on the victory of the Party in 2016, saying he would support any candidate who would be declared winner in the primaries to bring about unity in the party.

He said the absence of some amenities has retarded the development of the Zebilla Constituency and therefore assured the people that he would improve on those amenities when they give him the mandate to represent them in parliament.

Alhaji Adam Moro is also the immediate past District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, spoke in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Zebilla about his aspirations.

He noted that the youth needed to be empowered with skills and promised to organise training for them to acquire employable skills that would enable them to have livelihood.

He assured the people that he would revamp agricultural activities by constructing dams and rehabilitating existing ones to promote dry season farming and animal husbandry for a sustainable livelihood in the area.

He also promised to institute a fund that would be used to support farmers.
