Kumawood, Where Art Thou? I'm Surprised They've Not Yet Shot "NPP Amanehunu Pt 1&2"!

Ghana's local movie industry has over the years been phenomenal in shooting reality movies. When it comes to movies that border on current affairs, of course Kumawood's exclusivity cannot be downplayed.

Kumawood recently capitalized on ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his company's exposé of some corrupt judges in the country. They shot a movie titled "Our Judges."

It is therefore in respect of the instrumental role that the Kumawood actors play in the country's movie industry that the Policy Analyst of the People's National Convention (PNC) awaits a trailer on the happenings in the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Contributing to Peace FM's flagship programme "Kokrokoo", Atik Mohammed called on the Kumawood players to roll out a blockbuster movie on the NPP.

He expressed surprise over the silence of the Kumawood actors because to him, they should have by now shot some series on the internal strife that has since characterized the NPP.

He therefore made a special dedication to Kumawood to shoot a movie titled "NPP Amanehunu" in honour of the NPP as the party embarks on what he calls "unimportant self-destruction mission."

"I am surprised that Kumawood has not shot about 10 movies regarding the NPP. I suggest a title for them; ‘NPP Amanehunu’. It should be part 1, 2 & 3,” he cynically said.
