My Life Is In Danger Head of Anona Kakabaa Royal Family Of Apam Cries Out

Abusuapanyin Kojo Yooyoo, head of the Anona Kakabaa Royal Family of Apam in the Central Region is claiming that some unknown persons are threatening to kill him.

Abusuapanyin Kojo Yooyoo, who has stacked his head out on several occasions to defend the Title to the over 2000 acre lands belonging to the family at Gomoa Fetteh, also in the Central Region  said his life is in danger considering the numerous death threats people are issuing against his life.

Speaking to The New Crusading GUIDE, he expressed grave worry at the development and indicated that the threats were coming due to the legal documents and Titles to the land which were in his possession.

He also enumerated that most of the threats came from a staff of the Central Regional office of the Lands Commission.

Meanwhile, Abusuapanyin Kojo Yooyoo said he had reported the matter to the police and appealed to the police to institute investigations into the matter since silence over the issue could cause him his life.

Gomoa Fetteh in the Central Region has lately seen some scuffles over some 2000 acre lands belonging to the Anona Kakabaa Royal Family, with the family raising red flags over what they described as deliberate attempts by some people within the traditional house to sell off the said land.

Many people were accused of selling off the 2000 acres of the 3,644.50 acres belonging to the Anona Kakabaa Royal Family which was also vested in Fetteh Salt Limited.

It was revealed that, the registration of the said land was done on 1st June 1981 in the name of Mr. Samuel Mensah Dadzie of blessed memory as Fetteh Salt Limited, but some individuals along the line, forged the signatures to show that the land was rather registered in October 1981 with registration number, No. 530/81.

Accusing fingers were also pointed at Adwadifo Adamfo, a microfinance company limited for buying part of the land from unauthorized persons.

However, Abusuapanyin Kojo Yooyoo remarked that the attacks on his life begun few days after he criticized the illegal sale of the parcel of land and also exposed some personalities involved in the shady deal.

The outspoken Head of Family stated that he also had credible information that some people wanted to kill him, adding that he could not share everything with the media.

According to him, aside the death threat, the assailants were also planning to get all documents in his possession so they could have their way with their illegal and dubious machinations as far as possession of the land is concern.
