Mother Of Triplet Appeals For Support

A mother of newly born triplets Emilia Adobea, has appealed to the general public, benevolent societies, religious organizations, philanthropists and the Ministry of Children, Gender and Social Protection, to help care for her set of triplets.

Making the appeal through the Ghana News Agency(GNA), Ms Adobea, 26 years and a school dropout, who lives with her aged mother at Nankese near Suhum, said she already have four children and that she and her husband were unemployed .

She said after the delivery of the triplet of which she underwent surgical operation at Koforidua Regional Hospital, her husband, Evans Anno Yeboa visited them, but because he had no money to pay for their medical bills, he bolted and had since not been seen.

She said her aged mother was also ill and so they were being cared for by friends.

Ms Adobea said one madam Akosua Takyi, a barker of Koforidua paid all her medical bills and also transport her and her triplet from Koforidua to Nankese.

She said every donation should be routed through the hospital administrator of the Koforidua Regional Hospital.
