The cover of the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Upper Denkyira East Hon. Emelia Ankama, who forced her way to be nominated by the President to that position, has been blown out after discrediting Dr. Nawani the former MCE and taking over his position.
This has kept the community thinking as to why she clandestinely did this to send the doctor away.
Emelia Ankama is at it again, this time orchestrating plans to ensure that she becomes the Member of Parliament (MP) of the area since she is now contesting for the upcoming NDC primaries as the Member of Parliament for the area.
It will be recall that the position for MCE in the Upper Denkyira East became vacant for a long time after Dr Nwani’s exit and per our routine checks recently, we realized the current MCE Emelia Ankamah’s posters were all over the constituency bidding to become the member for parliament for the area.
Interestingly, intelligence information gathered indicated that before the MCE seat became vacant, lot of news stories were carried by some newspapers, most of which came from Emelia Ankamah, discrediting Dr. Nawani.
This woman in question, Emelia Ankamah, according to our information met with some media men, and disguised herself as Araba a Constituency Executive and gave a lot of information about the incompetence of the then MCE, as well as some of his ‘dirty deals’.
Apparently Emelia Ankamah did this to find her way to the seat as the MCE. She had indeed succeeded in assuming the position since after the publications of all the issues she brought forth against the MCE, members of the Constituents rise up against Dr. Nawani, demanding for his removal with many petitions written to the President.
These things, this paper can confidently say, resulted in the removal of Dr Nawani from office.
It is not only surprising to see her on the seat as the MCE but how she has managed to convince the party hierarchy to sail through from the vetting committee to contest for upcoming primaries.
Many people in the constituency are beginning to ask questions as to her ability to win the elections considering how insincere she is to the people and her affinity for lies and deceit.
This paper’s further checks within the constituency have revealed that the people who are becoming conscious of the deceitful manner in which Emelia Ankamah ascended the seat as the MP after lying to the media about her identity just to pull Dr Nawani down.
According to the people, many things happened at the time those publications were made against Dr Nawani which they believe, were the main reasons why Emelia Ankamah was made the MCE.
They therefore vowed to pay her in her own coin, by voting against her should the National Executive Committee (NEC) keep silent over the new development to reconsider how she sailed through the vetting process and disqualify her.
The constituents are also making huge case to the effect that, it would not be far fetch to describe Emelia Ankamah as dishonest, an impostor and self seeking fellow who cannot be trusted with the future of the constituency.
They averred that, the time has come for the people to be led by an honest, clean, and pure at heart, and dedicated personality who would lead them on a better path to development, and hence appealed to delegates to vote her out.
This paper can confirm that, people in the constituency are preparing to stage a massive demonstration against her position in the race, and if all avenues to ensure that she is disqualified fail, then they will vote against her in the elections.
