The Northern Regional Secretariat of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has relieved Hajia Zulfao Amadu, Deputy Regional Women Organiser of the party of her post for living below expectation.
A statement issued in Tamale on Tuesday and signed by Mr Daniel Bugri Naabu, Regional Chairman of the NPP stated that the appointment of Hajia Amadu has been revoked with immediate effect.
“Your removal is on the grounds that you have lived below expectation as a Deputy Women Organiser,” the statement said.
It referred Hajia Amadu to her appointment letter and Article 106 of the party’s constitution, which spells out conditions under, which she could be relieved of her post.
