Holy Spirit May Have Possessed Martin Amidu... - NDC Dep. Communicator

NDC Communications Director, Fred Agbenyo has debunked claims by 'Citizen Vigilante' Martin Amidu that the Government of Ghana sponsored Anas Aremeyaw Anas' exposé on the country's judiciary.

Multiple award-winning Anas and his company, Tiger Eye PI made shocking revelations about some alleged corrupt judges who were captured on video receiving bribes to compromise their work.

The video proved to Ghanaians that some judges could be influenced in cash or kind.

Though the video became the topic for discussion, the former Attorney-General Martin Amidu believes Anas' investigations may have been skewed in favour of the Government of Ghana.

He supported his assertion with claims that the Government of Ghana sponsored Anas and his company to conduct their investigations.

He also purported that some judges may have been shielded by the government and for that matter, were absolved.

In an article published on Monday, Mr. Amidu stated emphatically there have been attempts by Anas in conjunction with government "to suppress political corruption with the commissioned judicial corruption investigations.

In a quick response to Mr. Amidu, Fred Agbenyo debunked the claims stressing that the government has no hands in Anas' investigations.

According to him, the Government of Ghana played no significant role in the disclosure on the judicial scandal.

He therefore wondered why Mr. Amidu is making his claims and what he seeks to achieve.

To Fred Agbenyo, Mr. Amidu may be dreaming and acting under the influence of the "Holy Spirit."

The Holy Spirit works in diverse ways. It could be a dream or vision that he got. He should declare it publicly for proper scrutiny,” he said.
