NDC Do Not Want Me To Travel...But I'll Continue To - Nana Addo

The political strength of Nana Akufo Addo is something his fiercest rival the National Democratic Congress wouldn’t joke about; and with elections in the corner, the party is doing everything to keep him at bay from power.

One of the strategies deplored by some members of the NDC is to cast insinuations which portrays Nana Addo as a sick man anything he is on a flight to another country.

On his recent travel to South Africa, some members of the NDC started peddling rumours that his (Nana’s) journey was as a result of ill-health.

But in an address to a gathering during a training programme organised by the NPP for selected regional executives across the country, Nana Addo made it clear that such machinations against him could only be borne out of “desperation”.

He advised the NDC administration to be a serious one and wondered why they preferred to concentrate all of their attention on the activities of the opposition leader and not dealing with the difficult conditions of Ghanaians.

I am not on a stretcher. I get the impression that the NDC do not want me to travel. Every time I am going to travel they say I am going to see doctors or I am on a stretcher. I am going to continue to travel, and I am fine, as you can see,” he said.
