I Know When To Leave Parliament E.T Mensah

Enoch Teye Mensah, Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram says he is not leaving parliament anytime soon.

He was emphatic that, he will retire from the august house at his own prerogative after stating that – no person can unseat him in the NDC’s primaries or the 2016 general elections.

“I know when to checkout from Parliament. It’s like when you enter into a hotel room, it is only you who know when to check out,” he told Kasapa FM.

Adding that – “I became MP in 1997. When we went into opposition, nobody came up to challenge me until we brought the party back into power. There has never been a point I have gone unopposed. I am going to win the contest.”

E. T. Mensah is currently facing a stiff competition from Presidential Staffer, Sam George, a boy he claims he single handedly brought him into politics.

But he is very optimistic of wining the party’s upcoming primaries to still hold the title as one of Ghana’s long serving MPs.
