Former Member of Parliament for Adenta constituency has called the bluff of former Attorney-General, Martin Amidu for seeking to discredit investigative firm, Tiger Eye PI owned by ace journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
Kojo Adu-Asare is convinced the anti-corruption campaigner is just an “attention seeker and a time waster”.
Martin Amidu has been questioning the integrity of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ recent investigations into judicial bribery alleging that the undercover journalist is being used by government for propaganda purposes.
He maintained that Anas is shielding some corrupt Members of Parliament at the behest of government after he did a video exposing corruption in the House.
Anas in response has denied all the allegations accusing the former Attorney General of engaging in a popularity contest.
In support, Adu-Asare on Asempa FM Thursday said the anti-corruption campaigner has goofed big time.
According to him, Martin Amidu is just painting the Mahama-led administration black because his is a bitter man.
“He should get over because people have seen worst things. He is not the first person to have been sacked” he stressed.
The former Adenta MP noted that if the exposé of the former Attorney-General is anything to go by, then it is a blatant breach of the Oath of Secrecy he swore as a former Minister of State.
He also blamed the media for popularizing such a 'fruitless venture' instead of concentrating on the bread and butter issues confronting Ghanaians.
“I'm surprised the media is spending airtime to this issue; this is a total waste of everybody’s time” he stated.
Kojo Adu-Asare challenged Martin Amidu to fight Anas in court instead of making ‘noise’ in the media.
