Milo Delcares Kingston Fit

Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac is delighted with the fitness level of Laryea Kingston to play in tomorrow's joint Nations Cup/World Cup qualifier against Sudan at the Ohene Djan Stadium. Injury has prevented Kingston taking part in all previous group matches but he is expected to feature at some stage in the match, most likely as a substitute. The 28-year-old is yet to play his first game for Hearts this season after the medical team. Rajevac is anxious to see the Hearts midfielder in action, given that he has played only twice competitively since sustaining a hamstring problem in February."I think he is ready, we have had some test matches in training and I think his fitness is okay so I expect he is going to be ready," Rajevac told the Evening News. "We will see if he is going to start the match, it is too early to say."The Serbian's request for Kingston's services for last month friendly against Zambia in London earlier this month but Hearts insisted that he was nowhere near fit for such an engagement and Rajevac does admit misgivings over the midfielder's lack of activity. "That is definitely a concern. I wanted to see him in the match against Zambia but his club was making some difficulties. They didn't let him come to London," he said. "That was a great opportunity for me to see him, check his current form and level of fitness. "He had a very good chance to play. It was very close to Edinburgh, only a one-hour flight and we were hoping he would be there, especially because we had problems with some players who could not get a visa for Britain. Lots of players didn't come to that match so we were really counting on Kingston. The club didn't want to release him and we had a problem with that. They told us it was better for him to stay and prepare for the season with his club. We know the FIFA rule (which would have forced Hearts to release Kingston] but it is up to the Ghana Federation to decide. We tried everything but I don't think there will be any more problems."
