Inasmuch as giving brings blessings from God, National Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Kofi Adams believes there is no reward for the Assin Central Constituency parliamentarian, Ken Agyapong in the Central Region for every selfless act he has done.

According to him, it takes only braggarts to announce their wealth in public and uncultured individuals to sit in public to name those they have given a helping hand to.

Speaking to the recent verbal altercation with the Assin Central MP on a live television discussion programme, Kofi Adams pulled no punches when he stated on Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show that “Ken Agyapong is a disgrace to NPP with his utterances in public”.

“He doesn’t help his party with his utterances. It is only a braggart who goes about announcing what he has done for others and shows off his wealth for public applause. He feels that he should reduce everybody to just insult…it is impolite and un-Ghanaian to discuss all these in public,” he jabbed Agyapong.

He reminded the out-spoken NPP MP that he is not the only one who engages in philantrophic acts and urged him to consider his ability to give as a privilege. 

“…and so if you go to your constituency to help someone as an elected MP then you come to denigrate your people on radio as if others are not doing same or even maybe more. What then should Bill Gates and Dangote say when they help people out?” he quizzed.
