NPP Will Remain In Opposition Forever Fiifi Kwetey

Minister and Member of Parliament for Ketu South, Fifi Kwetey is optimistic the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) will never come to power.

Addressing a group of NDC members in the Volta Region to climax President Mahama’s nationwide #ChangingLives tour, Fifi Kwetey said: “our opponents will always have defeat, ours is victory. They will never come back to government.”

The MP further stated that the NPP’s claims that over 76,000 Togolese had been captured on Ghana’s voters’ register in the Volta Region are an insult to residents in the region.

“For us in the Volta Region…we want to tell them that if they [NPP] think that we are Togolese then they don’t know what is coming to them. More fire from Volta Region. From Ketu South, more deadly fire…calling us Togolese is a massive insult to us…we don’t betray Ghana, we are loyal to Ghana.”

The tour, which started last month, was to give the President an opportunity to visit and meet businessmen and women and other stakeholders in all the ten regions, to discuss government policies and programmes as well commission projects under his transformation agenda.

The President earlier visited Western, Central, Eastern, Ashanti, Brong-Ahafo, and the three Northern Regions, before heading to the Greater Accra Region.
