City Temple International Church on Sunday organized a thanksgiving and anointing service for 28 street children who were in the custody of Street Academy, an NGO which caters for the wellbeing of homeless and child labourers. The service was also organized in order to draw the children closer to God and also seek His protection and assistance in all their endeavours. Speaking at the service, Reverend Adomkoh Cudjoe, a Pastor of City Temple urged the children not to demean themselves but believe that they were created for a purpose. He told them to believe in God and trust in Him alone for the supply of their entire needs since He is the creator of all things. �Always endeavour to believe in yourselves and also confess positive things since life and death lie in the power of the tongue,� he added. Rev. Cudjoe appealed to Christians to cultivate the habit of giving and pay attention to the needs of the less privilege. Mr. Ataa Lartey, Chief Executive Officer, Street Academy, thanked the church for her concern for the needs of the 28 children who were about to start formal education this academic year. He praised the church for taking it upon herself to pray for the children annually and also support the Academy financially. �We would also like to thank Ghana International School for allowing us to be affiliated to them and for all their support,� he added. Mrs. Aden Sapara-Grant, a Tutor of GIS thanked Mr. Lartey for his goods works and called upon the children to always study hard in order to achieve their dreams.
