Peace FM's Greater Accra Regional correspondent, Naana Ntiri reports that Accra Metropolitan Chief Executive, Dr. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije who is contesting for the Ablekuma South seat has not found his name in the voters' register.

According to her report, Akweley Mantey who is also contesting for the Ablekuma West Constituency seat confirmed to her that she is not finding her name in the register, likewise the AMA boss.

All efforts to reach Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije has proved futile at the time of filing the report.

He is facing competition from Mr Wisdom Nii Amoo Dodoo, a businessman and a grass-roots member of the party, who is contesting for the third time for the parliamentary slot on the same ticket.

However, the incumbent MP for the constituency, Mr Fredric Fritz Baffour, who is also the Chairman of the Committee on Defence and Interior, is not contesting.
