A senior Communicator of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti region has passed on after a short illness.
Regional Communication Officer Samed Akalilu in a statement said he gave up the ghost at Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi.

It is with great sadness that we find ourselves having to be the bearers of bad news. One of our Senior Communicators, Mr. Jerry Nketiah, passed on last night at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi after a short illness.
Each of us is not only mournful at the passing of a tremendous and hardworking individual, but the loss the Communication Department and his family find incomprehensible.
Myself, and the entire Communication Team members are devastated by this tragic loss of our loyal and true comrade.
I would like to, on behalf of the Ashanti Regional Communication outfit, extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
