The Electoral Commission has declared Madam Diana Twum the eventual winner of the NDC Parliamentary primary at the Ablekuma West Constituency but the rest of her contenders have refused to sign to accept the final results.

The reason given for the refusal is that the election recorded too much irregularity which they say is enough basis to warrant rejection of the final results.

The final results declared by the Electoral Commission are as follows:

1. Akweley- 320 votes
2. Prince Derek Adjei- 234
3. Marian Ayetey- 441
4. Diana Twum- 1,289

Per these results, Madam Diana Twum is the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the 2016 general elections after the EC has declared, but her contenders didn't sign to accept defeat.
