Afoko Was Not Attacked; Sammy Crabbe Lied Afokos Aide

An aide to the suspended National Chairman of the  New Patriotic Party(NPP), Nana Yaw Osei has denied any attack on his Boss as being claimed by 2nd Vice Chairman of the party, Sammy Crabbe.

“Mr. Afoko’s residence was not attacked, his property was not destroyed either. On the Morning of the Sunday I was in the house. Sammy Crabbe can comment on it, at least he comes to the house, but  I doubt if Sammy Crabbe will put out those words, because I still insist that nothing in the house was destroyed.,” Osei revealed an interview with Nii Arday Clegg on Morning Starr Tuesday.

There is a contrasting report to the issue as a close associate and second Vice Chair of the party Sammy Crabbe, had earlier said on Kasapa FM that Mr. Afoko also suffered an attack Sunday morning.

“Afoko’s home was also attacked on Sunday and the police was there. He was at church when the incident occurred so he had to call the police from church and they rushed there to save the situation. Most of the frames on his walls were destroyed by the attackers,” he revealed.

The development comes on the back of the attack on the headquarters of the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition Monday dawn.

Ahead of the denial by Afoko’s aide, a member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) and a Senior Lecturer of the University of Ghana Law School, Dr. Poku Adusei had asked the suspended chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Paul Afoko to prove to the public his alleged attack Monday, if indeed such an incident occurred to him.

Dr. Adusei insisted that the only way Ghanaians would believe him(Afoko)  on such claims was for him to tender in evidence of  a police report filed in effect to his allegations of attack Sunday.

“There is no truth in this. If indeed he was attacked why didn’t he cite his own case when he issued a statement condemning the raid that happened at the party head quarters, and that of Nii Noi Nortey. This is just a plot by him(Afoko), his assigns and agents to victimize himself.

“He just want to run the party down, he has no good intention” he told Kasapa  FM.
