Eric Don-Arthur Vows To Reclaim Effutu Seat For NDC

FORMER TV3 Morning Show host and newly elected National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Effutu in the Central Region, Eric Don Arthur has expressed his appreciation to the party’s supporters and Ghanaians in general for supporting him.

In a statement released Sunday after his victory, Don- Arthur said he was overwhelmed by the huge support given to him by the party and gave the assurance that he will work hard for the party to reclaim the seat and also increase the vote margin for President John Mahama

Don Arthur polled 1,694 votes against his opponent, Ambrose Entsiwah, who pulled 1,262 in the party’s constituency primaries.

He called for unity and hard work amongst party supporters in the constituency in order to guarantee victory in the 2016 polls.

According to him, he will officially embark on a “thank you” tour within the constituency to thank party members and also energize the rank and file ahead of the 2016 election.

Don Arthur also thanked the Almighty God for giving him victor and the party delegates and asked for God’s blessings for President Mahama and the country as well.
